The word DOULA refers to a woman experienced in childbirth who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a woman before, during and after childbirth.

NiNi Bambini doulas create a calm, positive and safe environment for a birthing woman and her partner; we offer suggestions for relaxation, positioning and breathing while giving constant reassurance and encouragement. We have experience with births in hospitals, birthing centers, and at home births.

NiNi Bambini doulas assist couples in gathering information about their labor and the birthing options available to them. Our role is support. We do not project our own ideals or values on our clients, or make decisions for them. Instead, we work together with partners, doctors, midwives and nurses as members of the birthing team.

NiNi Bambini also has a team of postpartum doulas. Postpartum doulas work with new families to help make their transition to parenthood easier. A postpartum doula supports a new mother with simple meal preparation and housekeeping chores, baby care and breastfeeding help. Postpartum care is available during the day or overnight.
